Bio
I am a lawyer specialising in fashion law, with a focus on intellectual property, sustainability, and regulatory frameworks shaping Africa’s fashion industry. My work explores the intersection of law, business, and innovation, providing critical insights into the evolving legal landscape of the global fashion sector.
Over the years, I have published extensively on key topics such as brand protection, employment law in fashion, and the impact of artificial intelligence on intellectual property rights. I co-authored the first-ever fashion law chapter in Fashion Management and wrote Navigating IP Protection and Counterfeiting for Accessories in South Africa’s Fashion Industry, a case study published by Bloomsbury Fashion Business Cases.
I am passionate about advancing fashion law scholarship in Africa and beyond, leading research and policy initiatives that aim to create a more structured legal framework for the industry.
